The name Linger was created by putting together Lin from Linda and ger from Kruger, which has a great meaning...

 

"Stay in a place longer than necessary because of a reluctance to leave."

 

And...

 

"spend a long time over (something)."

 

That is what we want you to do while you enjoy our live performance, is to linger longer because you're enjoying the live entertainment with singing and guitar in many different genres.

About Hansie

Hansie is a professional musician with over 37 years experience in the music industry.

 

He played with the County Music Association of South Africa where he shared the stage with Barbara Ray, Matt Hurter, Jody Wayne and other Country Music Singers.

 

Hansie's live performance has people captivated for hours.

About Linda

 Linda had a passion for singing since she was small and joined a singing school in 2009 to learn how to use her voice and perform on stage to live out her passion.

 

Her favorite was performing in the theatre.

 

 Her live performances demonstrate not just vocal excellence, but also a dynamic stage presence that resonates with everyone. Whether performing solo or with Linger, Linda Pretorius consistently delivers unforgettable musical experiences.

 

She and Hansie did their first show together on 24 November 2022 and has been together ever since.

 

From intimate gatherings to grand events, their impeccable singing talent shines through, making every moment truly special
